Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Foreman for a $25M social housing project in Chermside, Brisbane. You will lead subcontractors, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure safety and quality while keeping the construction programme on track.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will monitor workmanship, manage materials and labour, and maintain clear communication with the project team to deliver a meaningful residential project in Brisbane's competitive market.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Foreman on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site coordination.
• Trade background and relevant construction qualifications preferred.
• Proactive approach to safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors across all stages of construction.
• Managing daily site activities to ensure works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
• Monitoring workmanship and ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site safety procedures.
• Conducting site inspections and identifying potential issues before they impact project delivery.
• Coordinating materials, labour and equipment to maintain productivity.
• Working closely with the Site Manager to resolve site issues and keep construction moving.
• Maintaining clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
