Job summary

Lactalis Australia at Clarence Gardens in South Australia is seeking a Site Financial Controller to lead all accounting and reporting for the site, reporting to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Financial Controller Liquids. You will actively engage across departments to improve cost and efficiency and provide financial advice to the Site Leadership Team.

You will drive monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and governance, partnering with operations to deliver performance insights

Qualifications

• Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commercially minded with ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Strong communicator, builds relationships and drives continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing as a Management/ Site Controller or similar.
• Experience using a major ERP system such as SAP.
• Engineering, Operations Finance or Lean Six Sigma background encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting with accurate results and clear insights.
• Partner with operational leaders to analyse variances against budget and forecast.
• Develop and maintain forecasts and savings plans with high accuracy.
• Coordinate the annual budget process and align cost drivers and plans.
• Act as a trusted financial partner to site leadership for decision-making.
• Monitor site KPIs and translate data into financial insights.
• Drive financial governance, KPI reporting, costing, and profitability initiatives.
