Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to translate IFC drawings into constructable work packs for major civil and structural projects on site in Australia. This fixed-term role supports the Eva Copper Mine delivery and reports to the Deputy Construction Manager, bridging design and field execution.

The role is site-based with DIDO from local communities or FIFO from Brisbane/Townsville to Cloncurry, featuring a 14 days-on, 7 days-off roster.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
5 years construction experience.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all civil and structural engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices;
Develop work packs that enable construction of IFC drawings. These work packs consolidate all materials required to commence construction such as scope, drawings, methodologies/sequencing considerations (SWMS), safety and risk considerations, related permits, RFIs/clarifications.
Focal point for design/drawing clarification and ad hoc design tasks.
Preparing documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around civil and structural engineering projects;
Liaison with other department engineers and designers to ensure project goals are met
