Job summary

Amida Group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to deliver civil construction projects from Newcastle to Muswellbrook. The role involves planning, scheduling, site leadership and client liaison on projects ranging from $2m to $40m+.

You will contribute to a growing portfolio across civil, demolition, remediation and related works. Ideal candidates have 3–10+ years on civil projects, a Civil Engineering degree, hands-on problem solving, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 5–10+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with values up to $40m.
• Hands-on understanding of construction processes.
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with tenders, planning, and site supervision.

Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as civil, demolition, remedial, rehabilitation, excavation, crushing, recycling etc.

Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join their growing business.

Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, power stations, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.

Types of projects include access roads, demolition, excavation, retention, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation, recycling, crushing, piling, foundations etc.

The project works will primarily be of a civil nature with typical values from $2.5 to $10m but can go up to $40m+. Personnel could be based from Newcastle to Muswellbrook and would look to line up projects depending on where people live. Current project pipeline is West Newcastle, to Singleton to Muswellbrook.

Years of experience:

3-10 years +
