Job summary

UGL Group is seeking a Site Engineer - Assembly & Erection to join our on-site team on the HumeLink project in NSW. This FIFO role requires coordinating civil/structural works and ensuring alignment with drawings and safety standards. You will review specifications, manage resources, supervise erection of structures, and maintain progress records.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in assembly, erection, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of drawings, standards and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with SHEQ regulations and safe work practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, prepare for assembly activities and resources.
• Oversee assembly and erection of structures in line with plans.
• Inspect installations to meet design standards and resolve defects.
• Enforce safety protocols and monitor site activities.
• Maintain records, prepare progress reports and document modifications.
