Job summary

Winslow Constructors in Eight Mile Plains QLD is seeking a proactive Engineer to join a growing civil construction team. You will be involved in all stages of project delivery, from tender handovers to procurement, safety, cost control, and reporting, helping to drive projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant experience as an engineer in infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Strong client-relations and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Involve all stages of project delivery from tender handovers to procurement.
• Manage safety, time, cost and quality on site.
• Plan projects and develop programming tasks.
• Coordinate management of client relationships and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance of construction teams and subcontractors against estimates.
• Report production costs daily, weekly and monthly.
• Procure plant, equipment and materials as needed.
• Issue PMPs, SWMs and MSDs.
• Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System.

About the role:

• Being actively involved with all stages of a project delivery including tender handovers, project launches, site establishments, risk management, construction staging, and methodology and procurement
• Effectively handling safety, time, cost, and quality
• Project planning and programming tasks.
• Liaising and coordinating the management of client relationships.
• Monitoring performance of construction crew and subcontractors against estimates.
• Reporting production costs daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Procurement of plant, equipment, and material.
• Issuing PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs.
• Project compliance in accordance with the Integrated Management System.

About you:

• Relevant experience as an Engineer (Infrastructure experience advantageous)
• Eager to learn and grow
• Ability to build strong client relationshop
• Excellent rapport with subcontractors
