Zusammenfassung

GSK is seeking a Site EHS Lead to head the environment, health, and safety function at the Marburg site. You will collaborate with site leadership to maintain a safe, compliant workplace and drive continuous improvement in EHS programs.

You will lead the EHS team, manage regulatory interactions, and ensure incidents are investigated with robust corrective actions. This role offers growth, visibility, and a chance to contribute to GSK’s mission in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in science, engineering, environmental health, occupational safety, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in EHS roles within regulated manufacturing or process environments.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in EHS management.
• Good knowledge of German health, safety, and environmental legislation relevant to manufacturing sites.
• Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.
• Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and working within site leadership teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the site EHS team to drive strong safety, environmental, and risk management programs.
• Own and continuously improve the site’s EHS management system, ensuring clear objectives and performance metrics.
• Advise site leadership peers with clear, practical EHS guidance and act with the EHS Team as the primary contact for regulators and external inspections.
• Ensure incidents and near-misses are thoroughly investigated and strong corrective and preventive actions are developed.
• Ensure environmental compliance, including permits and wastewater treatment and others.
• Design and deliver training, audits, and assurance activities to maintain standards and strengthen EHS culture.
