Job summary

Freyssinet Australia is seeking a hands-on Working Supervisor to lead our VIC Remedial team in Melbourne. You will manage day-to-day remedial construction activities, supervise site crews and subcontractors, and ensure delivery to safety, quality and environmental standards.

You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and liaise with engineers and clients to keep projects on schedule and on budget, while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across active remediation

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ supervisory experience in construction or remediation projects.
• Proven capability delivering complex works on active construction or industrial sites.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance.
• Solid technical understanding of concrete and steel repair methods, coatings, and temporary works.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities and allocate resources to achieve timely and high‑quality project delivery.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety‑first culture, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues affecting timelines or budgets.
• Liaise with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment across all stages of the project.
• Assist in the planning and setup of temporary works, including scaffolding, containment, and access systems.
• Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries, timesheets, and material usage.
• Champion continuous improvement and foster a high‑performing site culture.
