Job summary

Our client, a Western Australian contractor, is delivering multi-discipline projects across resources, energy and infrastructure. They seek a Senior/Project Engineer to lead site-based delivery on a FIFO 2/1 roster, coordinating with the Project Manager and site teams to manage earthworks, FRP structures, building works and SMP E&I packages.

This practical, site-focused role suits someone who enjoys hands-on delivery and coordinating across multiple disciplines on remote WA sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering civil or multi-discipline projects in a site-based role
• FIFO 2/1 roster experience in remote WA locations
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site coordination
• Ability to manage subcontractors and interface across multiple work fronts
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Immediate start on secured North West projects; diverse scopes within a growing WA contractor

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and delivery of earthworks, structural and building scopes
• Support coordination of SMP E&I works across self perform and subcontract teams
• Monitor site progress and assist with resolving technical and delivery challenges
• Manage subcontractor interfaces and ensure works are completed to specification
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements on site
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and site records
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting and resource planning
• Work closely with site supervisors and stakeholders to maintain programme
