Real Response is seeking a Simulation-Based First Aid Trainer in Melbourne. This permanent part-time role (2-3 days per week) involves delivering high-quality, sim-based first aid courses to diverse clients, traveling to client sites around Melbourne and possibly interstate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a paramedic, emergency nurse, fire EMR, military medic, or similar emergency role.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Professional presence and ability to engage diverse groups.
• Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116/TAE40122) or enrolment in TAE40122.
• Driver’s licence and vehicle to travel to course locations in Melbourne area.
• Laptop or device suitable for connecting to AV systems at client sites.
• Comfortable with transporting and setting up training equipment (CPR manikins, trainer kit).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality simulation-based first aid courses to a range of organisations.
• Adapt delivery style for different client groups, environments and locations.
• Travel to client sites around Melbourne, with optional interstate opportunities.
• Receive full training, equipment and ongoing support from our national training team.
• Access opportunities to expand into additional training areas if relevant experience applies.
