Job summary

DIAB Engineering is seeking an experienced Site Coordinator / Superintendent to lead site execution activities in Western Australia. The role focuses on supervising shutdown works, ensuring safety, quality and contractual compliance, and coordinating trades and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical trades qualification, 3–5 years in supervisory roles within mining projects, and can interpret project documents. FIFO from Perth is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication Welding.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in supervisory positions for onsite project execution works in the Mining Sector.
  • Ability to interpret project documentation and procedures.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and interpretation of mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise site execution works and coordinate trade teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure shutdown safety, quality and contractual requirements are met on site.
  • Interpret and adhere to project schedules with strong time management.
  • Coach, mentor and support site trade teams to uphold company policies and procedures.
