Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking Shutdown Mechanic Fitters (x8) for a short-term shutdown on a mine site in South Australia. Work is FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide with 12-hour days during the 16/11 to 21/11 window.

Trade-qualified candidates with mine-site experience and the ability to pass pre-employment medicals (LabDAS) and police clearance are preferred. White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Spaces certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified and able to pass pre-employment medical including labDAS.
• Police clearance required.
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shutdown work on mine sites, underground environments.
• Operate as part of a team of fitters during the shutdown.
• Comply with safety and site procedures during 12-hour shifts.
