Job summary

Stegbar is seeking Shower Screen & Wardrobe Installers to join a busy national client network. You will install robes, semi-frameless/frameless shower screens, mirrors and splashbacks in new and existing homes across Adelaide. The role emphasizes customer service, OH&S and high-quality workmanship with ongoing training to expand capabilities.

You'll operate as a subcontractor with steady work from the depot in Pooraka and a focus on productivity and professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• ABN holder; Pty Ltd registration desirable.
• Insurance: Workers Comp, Public Liability, motor vehicle.
• Construction Induction White Card required.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and work rights in Australia.
• Police check and clean background.
• Own van/trailer and necessary tools to carry glass.
• Subcontracting arrangement with ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Install robes, shower screens (semi- Frameless/frameless), mirrors and splashbacks.
• Work on residential homes and interact with retail customers.
• Pick up work from the depot in Pooraka and cover Adelaide region.
• Maintain OH&S standards and deliver quality customer service.
• Train for additional products to expand scope of work.

Job description

Stegbar are currently recruiting for Shower Screen & Wardrobe Installers to work for our very busy national client.

These roles will see you installing robes, semi-frameless and frameless shower screens, mirrors and splashbacks into new and existing homes.

With a local presence in Adelaide, you will pick up work from the depot at Pooraka and cover works across Adelaide and the surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for those with Glazier, Showerscreen Installer, cabinet making / shopfitter /joiner, or similar trade background or a handyperson with relevant experience, who is to grow your business whilst reaping all the benefits of subcontracting to this well-established national organisation.

This role will predominantly see you working in residential homes as well as interacting with retail customers; thus, customer service is imperative to make a good impression with every interaction with the clients.

To be considered for this subcontractor opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience, have a focus on customer service, quality and OH&S and ensure maximum productivity in all tasks relating to these jobs.

Sub-Contracting Requirements:

• Be an ABN holder; however, Pty Ltd Company Registration – highly desirable,
• Relevant insurances, such as Workers Compensation, Public Liability Insurance; Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
• Construction Induction White Card
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Work Rights in Australia
• Clean, valid Police Check
• Your own late-model long-wheel-based van - such as a Hi Ace Van (that can carry material min 2.8 m in length) or suitable work vehicle and trailer with appropriate frame to carry glass in the trailer
• Your own tools required to do this work

Please note -There is no quoting or measuring of jobs, no invoicing or collecting outstanding monies, as this is all done on your behalf so that you can focus purely on installations and completing jobs.

With long term opportunities, this role will provide continual training to those whose goal is to grow their business and learn how to install a wider range of products down the track, in turn maximizing your potential earnings.
