Job summary

SRG Global Mining Services is seeking a skilled Shotfirer for long-term projects at our Cowal, NSW operations. You will support blasting activities, follow plans, inspect explosives, ensure safety, and help maintain high safety and productivity. We offer a 7:7 day roster with DIDO on a company bus and accommodation for those outside West Wyalong.

Roles available: full-time and casual. Requirements include prior shotfirer experience, NSW Blasting Explosives User License, a manual driver's

Qualifications

• Must have previous shotfirer experience.
• Must hold Blasting Explosives User License (NSW).
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
• Have a valid Driver's License (manual).
• Security Clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior shotfirer with blasting activities.
• Follow Load and tie in plans.
• Explosive vehicle and magazine inspections.
• Handling explosives and ensuring safety.
• Cleaning and securing blast areas.
• Reporting incidents and completing documentation.
• Spotting MMU & Stemming loader on blast pattern.

Due to exciting growth, SRG Global Mining Services is looking for skilled Shotfirers to join our long-term projects at our Cowal (West Whyalong), NSW Operations. You'll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities. Both full-time and casual positions are available. DIDO on a company supplied bus with accommodation available for those residing outside the West Wyalong area. Roster is 7:7 (days) - day shift only.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior shotfirer with blasting activities.

The successful applicant will have:
