Job summary

JBS Australia seeks a Shipping Officer to manage export planning and coordination from production to order fulfilment at our Riverview head office in Ipswich, Queensland. You will handle bookings and loadouts for designated markets while ensuring ERP data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Works closely with Sales, Production, Documentation, and carriers to ensure smooth shipments, high service levels, and confidentiality. This is a full-time, on-site role without remote options.

Job description

The JBS Northern Ops Shipping & Docs team is currently seeking a Shipping Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. Based at our Northern Ops head office in Riverview (Ipswich), you will work alongside a team of ten experienced shipping professionals in a fast-paced yet supportive export environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating export activities from production through to order fulfilment, booking and loadout for designated markets. You will review inventory and production levels to ensure the timely processing of shipping orders, allocations and instructions, while maintaining accurate export order information within the ERP system to support efficient and on-time fulfilment.

You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Production, Documentation, loadout sites, shipping lines and transport carriers, to ensure the smooth movement of export shipments. A key part of the role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customer requirements, while also providing high-quality support and service to both internal and external customers as needed.
