Job summary

SunRice Group's CopRice division in Cobden is hiring a Shift Miller / Feed Mill Operator to lead a small on-site production team. You will operate and supervise the feed mill, monitor performance, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure production targets are met.

We value hands-on leaders with experience in feed milling or grain handling, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in feed milling or similar production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work a rotating shift (Day/Afternoon/Night).

Responsibilities

• Operating and overseeing feed mill production activities.
• Monitoring plant performance and maximising production efficiency.
• Ensuring products meet quality and feed safety standards.
• Completing production reporting and documentation.
• Leading toolbox meetings and supporting team development.
• Maintaining GMP, HACCP and workplace safety requirements.
• Working closely with maintenance and operations teams.

Looking for a hands-on role where you can lead a team, operate a complex production process, and make a real impact in Australian agriculture?

CopRice is seeking a Shift Miller / Feed Mill Operator to join our team in Cobden. You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the feed mill, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved while leading a small team on shift.

• Able to work a rotating shift - Monday to Friday Day, Afternoon and Night Shift
