Hutchison Ports Australia is seeking a Shift Manager for the Sydney terminal (Port Botany NSW) to oversee 24/7 operations. The role requires hands-on leadership of frontline teams, ensuring safe, efficient and productive performance across vessels, yard and landside activities.

You will work with planners, customers and terminal stakeholders, leading a large operational workforce and delivering outstanding operational outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Experience leading operational teams in a complex environment.
• Background in stevedoring, warehousing or related sectors.
• Demonstrated experience managing safety, productivity and performance.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Safe Operations: champion safety culture, ensure WHS compliance, lead incident response, promote accountability.
• Drive Productivity & Performance: coordinate terminal activities, balance safety, service, efficiency and cost, monitor performance.
• Lead People: provide coaching, manage performance, develop capabilities, foster high-performance teamwork.
• Stakeholder Management: liaise with lines, customers, planners and terminal stakeholders, adapt to changing priorities.
