Job summary

BlueScope is seeking a Shift Electrician (Operator/Maintainer) for our Western Sydney Service Centre in Erskine Park. The role sits in the Electrical Maintenance team and involves 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, five days per week, working on our new paint line for COLORBOND products.

We welcome electricians from commercial or residential backgrounds who want to build industrial automation and control system experience. Comprehensive training and development can be provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualifications and NSW Electrical License required.
• Experience with technical equipment (PLC, Drives, HMI, Networks) and fault-finding.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to prioritise work and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely to maintain continuous line performance.
• Conduct fault finding on PLC, Drives, Data Network, HMI, and Instrumentation Systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment efficiency.
