Job summary

CSR is seeking a Shift Electrician to join the maintenance team at our Cecil Park manufacturing facility in NSW. This is a hands-on role in a 24/7 production environment with rotating day, afternoon and night shifts.

You will help maintain and improve plant reliability while upholding a safety-first culture. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work with electricians, fitters, apprentices and maintenance professionals to keep a large-scale brick operation running efficiently and

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence.
• Electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial or production environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance across site equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective actions.
• Design, install and commission small-to-medium electrical projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and SAP work orders.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site procedures, WHSE standards and permit systems.
• Collaborate closely with production, mechanical and engineering teams.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and support the development of apprentices and peers.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Shift Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Cecil Park manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on role within a 24/7 production environment, working across a rotating roster of day, afternoon and night shifts. You'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving plant reliability while supporting a strong safety-first culture. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work alongside a collaborative team of electricians, fitters, apprentices and maintenance professionals responsible for keeping a large‑scale brick manufacturing operation running efficiently.

Responsibilities

About You

Essential

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial or production environment

• Experience working with PLC‑controlled equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Highly Regarded

• Experience with PLC and SCADA programming or modification
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
• Experience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systems
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement experience
• Experience in heavy manufacturing, building products, brick, cement, quarry, steel, food or FMCG environments
