Job summary

SRG Global Ltd is seeking local First-Class Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at South 32. This casual, day-shift role offers long-term work for the right candidates and a strong safety-focused environment.

You will remove and replace cladding and insulation, measure and fabricate pipe components, and work with a high-performing team on site. Local candidates with trade experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant trade experience.
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years).
• Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years).
• White Card and Valid Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace cladding and rockwool insulation from pipework and vessels.
• Measure and fabricate pipe cladding and valve boxes.
• Work safely at heights and follow site safety protocols.
• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Follow environmental controls and collaborate with supervisors.
• Collaborate with the trades across a high-performing team.

SRG Global are currently seeking local Trade qualified First-Class Sheet Metal Workers and experienced to join our team at South 32. Long-term work is available for the right candidates. If you're ready to be part of a high-performing crew - this is the role for you!

• 10 Hour Days
• Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
• DIDO - Local candidates only
• Day Shift only
• Casual

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove and replace cladding and rockwool insulation from pipework and vessels
• Knowledge of how to measure and fabricate pipe cladding and valve boxes
• Working safely at heights
• Reading and interpreting work instructions
• Following site safety protocols, permits, and environmental controls
• Collaborating with supervisors and trades across a high-performing team

About You – Successful Applicants Will Have:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant trade experience
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
• High Risk Work Licence: LF and EWP (Desirable)
• White Card
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass site medical testing requirements
