Job summary

Workhorse Staffing in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a qualified Sheetmetal Tradesperson to join a busy manufacturing workshop. You will fabricate across stainless, aluminium and mild steel, read drawings, and operate press brakes, rollers and folding machines on a variety of industrial and commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years post-trade experience, a valid forklift licence, and proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Sheetmetal Worker with 3+ years post-trade experience.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Proficient in MIG & TIG welding on mild, stainless and aluminium.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with press brakes, folding or rolling machines is highly regarded.
• Strong focus on detail, quality and safety in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Sheetmetal fabrication across stainless, aluminium and mild steel.
