PRESTIGE TRUCK BODIES PTY LTD, based in Carrum Downs, Victoria, is seeking a full-time Sheetmetal Trades Worker/Metal Fabricator/Welder. The role involves mark out, shaping and joining metal to build truck bodies, using blueprints and specs to determine material needs, and finishing finished products to a high standard.

Position details: 38 hours per week, permanent full-time, with guaranteed overtime. Located in Carrum Downs, VIC, Australia.

Responsabilités

• Mark out, shape, form and join metal to produce truck bodies.
• Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Select metal stock (galvanised iron, mild steel, aluminium) and check dimensions.
• Cut metal stock with hand/power tools; shape with folding/bending machines and presses.
• Weld, rivet, solder, braze and assemble components; finish by polishing and cleaning.
