Job summary

Superior Air Conditioning & Sheetmetal Works Pty L is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker for a full-time permanent role in the Ingleburn area. You will fabricate, assemble and install ductwork and related sheet-metal components for air-conditioning and ventilation systems across residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities include operating fabrication machinery, reading drawings, maintaining equipment and ensuring quality on site.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or 3 years of proven work experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
Proficient with sheet metal fabrication equipment (shears, press brakes, rollers, guillotines).
Attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Operate sheet metal fabrication machinery to cut, bend and shape ductwork components.
Read and interpret technical drawings for accurate fabrication.
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and equipment for safety and performance.
Complete service and repair documentation clearly and promptly.
Mark out metal stock with reference points using templates, gauges and other tools.
Fit and assemble components into final products by welding, riveting, soldering, brazing and joining.
Keep up to date technically and apply new knowledge to the job.
