Job summary

Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-Operative – North Geelong VIC is seeking a dedicated Manager, Social & Emotional Wellbeing to lead programs within the Health Unit, reporting to the Executive Manager-Health Services.

This full-time fixed-term 12-month role focuses on service strategy, quality systems, continuous improvement, and person-centred care while ensuring delivery targets meet the social and cultural needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee allocated Social & Emotional Wellbeing programs within the Health Unit.
• Implement operational aspects of service strategy and policy under the Executive Manager-Health Services.

The Role

The position of Manager, Social & Emotional Wellbeing forms part of Wathaurong’s operational management team providing management and oversight of allocated programs within the Social & Emotional divisions of the Health Unit. The position works under strategic direction from the Executive Manager-Health Services to implement operational aspects of service strategy and policy. The position provides effective management to achieve and exceed service and program performance and delivery targets that reflect the social and cultural needs of the community. with a focus on quality system and continuous improvement-based management and person-centred care and services.
