Qualifications:

• TAE40110 or TAE40116 (including TAEASS501 and TAELLN411) or higher VET teaching qualification

Experience and Knowledge:

• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Understanding and respect for the diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of the students
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate effectively across large groups
• A confident and flexible approach
• Flexibility to adjust teaching methods based on the needs of individual learners and the dynamics of the classroom
• Proficient in IT systems and MS Office suite
• WorkSafe accredited for forklift (advantage but not mandatory)
• This position will require the applicant to consent to a national police check and other relevant security checks associated with working within a custodial environment
