Job description

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: SA - Wingfield

Job Category: Asset Management Services (AMS)

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Based in Wingfield, SA
  • Shape how critical maintenance and upgrade work is delivered across Australia's energy network
Job Description

CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia's electricity grid.

As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company ranked #152 on the NYSX, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

Established in 1996, we've connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 800 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, we partner with Australia's major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.

Join us in shaping the future of energy.

Asset Management Services

CPP's Asset Management Services (AMS) ensure the reliability and longevity of high-voltage assets. As a key part of our end-to-end service offering, we provide a seamless transition from construction and commissioning to ongoing asset management.

The AMS team delivers critical maintenance, replacement and upgrade projects for Australia's electricity network. Trusted by major utility and infrastructure clients, AMS manages and maintains high-voltage assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring essential infrastructure remains safe, reliable and ready to meet future demand.

With significant growth underway and an expanding portfolio of projects, there has never been a better time to join AMS and play a key role in shaping the future of a rapidly growing business delivering critical infrastructure across Australia.

The opportunity

As CPP's Asset Management Services (AMS) business continues to grow, we're looking for a proactive and organised Services Planner to help build and shape a critical planning function that supports maintenance, replacement and upgrade projects across Australia's electricity infrastructure network. This newly created role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact by improving resource utilisation, project readiness and delivery outcomes across a national portfolio of work.

Working closely with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Leading Hands and field-based teams, you'll take ownership of workforce planning, scheduling and work-pack preparation, ensuring projects and maintenance activities are planned effectively before work reaches site. You'll maintain visibility of available resources, employee capabilities and upcoming work demands, helping balance competing priorities across multiple projects and locations.

This role extends beyond traditional project scheduling. You'll support the mobilisation of maintenance contracts, develop maintenance plans for critical assets, coordinate documentation and establish planning processes that will support AMS as it continues to expand nationally. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to scheduling standards, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals delivering essential energy infrastructure projects.

For the right person, this is a unique opportunity to join a growing business unit, influence how planning is delivered and build a long-term career within one of Australia's leading utility infrastructure organisations.
