Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking a Services Manager to oversee the technical delivery of building services on complex commercial projects. This role coordinates design through to commissioning, working with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to achieve successful outcomes.

You will lead the coordination of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and communications services, manage procurement and subcontractor performance, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across live sites.

The Opportunity

Joining an established project team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing all building services across the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning and stakeholder management to ensure quality outcomes are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of all building services including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire and communications.
• Manage the design development process, identifying and resolving coordination issues before construction.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement and programme to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
• Coordinate services installation with construction activities across live project environments.
• Drive commissioning, testing and defect management through to project handover.Work closely with consultants, clients and internal project teams to resolve technical challenges and achieve project milestones.
• Ensure all services comply with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications and quality requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role you'll bring strong technical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills and previous experience delivering building services on complex commercial construction projects.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Services Manager within the commercial construction industry.
• A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire services.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and commissioning processes.The ability to manage competing priorities within fast-paced project environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
