Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network in Meningie is seeking a Services Assistant to support day-to-day operations. You will help prepare and deliver meals, keep the unit clean, and assist with housekeeping and laundry.

This role is part-time, ongoing permanent, with pro-rata salary around $62,845 to $63,988 per year. Applicants should be reliable, communicate well, and meet safety and infection control standards.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services
• Understanding of workplace safety, food safety, and infection control standards
• Strong customer service focus with basic computer and administrative skills

Desired Criteria

• Completion of Year 11 and a current First Aid certificate
• Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry, and basic computer use
• Manual handling skills and understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity principles
