Job summary

Thiess is seeking an experienced Serviceperson for a permanent role at Olive Downs Complex, 80 km SE of Moranbah. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will service heavy earthmoving equipment and support fitters while keeping the workshop area tidy and safe.

Camp facilities are provided; 12-hour shifts with an even time roster. Opportunities for training and career development are available in a world-class mining operation.

Qualifications

• Prior serviceperson experience on an open-cut coal mine.
• Standard 11 qualification and R11SAM212E certificate are required or preferred.
• HR licence is preferred for driving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Conduct refuelling operations.
• Assist fitters where required.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained.
• General workshop duties.
