Job summary

Woolworths Group NSW is seeking a Service Technician to provide proactive facilities management for stores across Sydney city and Inner South. You will troubleshoot, service refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and manage associated paperwork.

The role offers a permanent full-time arrangement with a hybrid working model, on-call rosters, and a competitive remuneration package including base salary, super, and tools of trade.

Qualifications

• Current Arctick licence or equivalent.
• Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning) or Endorsed Contractor Licence.
• Experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service/installation.
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to troubleshoot and service equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as per schedules.
• Complete paperwork and reporting.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and support capital works.

What you’ll do

As a Service Technician, you will ensure facilities management services to our customers are at the highest levels and ensure we operate as a Proactive, Responsive and Efficient service model.

• Visit various stores to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing equipment.
• Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules
• Complete associated paperwork and reporting
• Monitor replacement spare part inventory and recommend capital works to help reduce operational costs
• Work closely with our facilities management, support and technical teams, store teams and our call support centre team
• Work closely with construction teams including informing engineers, planning for replacements and assisting in prioritising capital works

What you’ll bring

• Current Arctick licence, current drivers licence and Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning); OR Endorsed Contractor Licence (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning
• Experience within the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service and installation industry, with commercial supermarket experience a plus
• Flexibility to work overtime, travel to various sites and to be on call as required (a shared roster system)
• A good level of computer literacy
• An understanding of C02 systems, Emerson & RDM controls advantageous
