Job summary

Aggreko plc in Braeside, VIC is looking for a Service Technician - Electrical to join our team supporting Victorian customers. You will perform planned maintenance, electrical servicing and fault finding on generators and climate control equipment.

The role requires an A Grade Electrical Licence and a valid Driver’s Licence, with forklift licence a plus. We offer overtime opportunities, training and a safety-focused culture, with ongoing career growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with an A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Relevant experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Forklift Licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance and repair programs to uphold reliable and safe operation of assets.
• Conduct safety inspections in adherence to Aggreko's standards.
• Deliver first-level technical advice to customers and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform routine electrical servicing and general equipment maintenance.
• Conduct fault-finding and repair on generators, load banks, distribution and battery systems.
• Install and decommission Aggreko's generators and temperature control equipment.
• Provide customer response in case of equipment failure.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Service Technician - Electrical to join our team at our Braeside Depot, where you'll play a pivotal role in servicing our Victorian customers.

What you’ll do as Service Technician - Electrical:

• Execute planned maintenance and repair programs to uphold the reliable and safe operation of our assets.

• Deliver first-level technical advice to customers, resolving and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Perform routine electrical servicing and general equipment maintenance.
• Conduct generator, load bank, distribution and battery system fault-finding and repair.
• Install and decommission Aggreko's generators and temperature control equipment.
• Provide customer response in case of equipment failure.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Electrician with an "A Grade" Electrical License
• Relevant experience in a similar industrial environment or equivalent
• Forklift License is an advantage but not essential
• Valid Driver’s License
