Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Service Technician Electrical for our Mount Isa Depot in northern Queensland. The role focuses on executing planned maintenance and repairs to ensure the reliable and safe operation of our energy assets, with responsibilities spanning electrical servicing, safety inspections and customer support.

You will install and decommission generators and temperature control equipment, provide hands-on mechanical support, and drive field campaigns while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a QLDA Grade Electrical License.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Forklift License is an advantage.
• MR Truck License Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance and repair programs to keep assets reliable and safe.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and conduct safety inspections.
• Deliver first-level technical advice to customers and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform routine electrical servicing and general equipment maintenance.
• Diagnose generator, load bank, distribution and battery faults.
• Install and decommission Aggreko's generators and temperature control equipment.
• Provide customer response in case of equipment failure.
• Implement field campaigns.
• Provide hands-on mechanical support.

What you'll do:

Your primary focus will be on executing planned maintenance and repair programs to uphold the reliable and safe operation of our assets. In this position, you'll coordinate various maintenance activities, conduct safety inspections in adherence to Aggreko's standards, and deliver first-level technical advice to customers, resolving and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

You'll perform routine electrical servicing, general equipment maintenance and conduct generator, load bank, distribution and battery fault finding and repair.

Install and decommission Aggreko's generators and temperature control equipment.

Provide customer respond in case of equipment failure.

Implement field campaigns.

Provide hands-on mechanical support.

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

Qualified Electrician with an QLDA Grade Electrical License.

Valid Driver’s License.

Forklift License is an advantage.

MR Truck License Advantage
