Job summary

Malcolm Thompson Pumps is seeking a motivated Pump Technician in Seven Hills, NSW. You will strip, assess, repair and install pump systems, both in workshop and in the field, with a fully maintained company vehicle and allowances.

The role offers variety, training, and development within a safety‑driven national manufacturer. A relevant trade qualification and field experience are essential.

• A relevant trade qualification.
• Experience as a Pump Technician and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect licence (desirable).
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Commitment to learning and developing a long-term career.
• Current driver’s licence and a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Strip, assess, and repair a wide range of pumps.
• Remove and install various types of pump equipment.
• Work across both minor and major installation projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Liaise with customers and deliver clear, concise service reports.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with WHSE procedures.
