Job summary

Precision Automotive Equipment is seeking a skilled Service Technician to deliver expert service, repairs, and installations across our wheel service and hoist equipment range. You will be the face of our field operations, combining technical expertise with strong customer service to ensure equipment reliability and safe, efficient outcomes for our customers.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification relevant to mechanical, electrical or automotive equipment.
• Experience servicing, repairing or installing mechanical or electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Preventative maintenance and electrical fault‑finding.
• Strong safety awareness and disciplined work practices.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, breakdown and installation work on wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective repair solutions
• Complete work to manufacturer specifications, technical standards and company procedures
• Test equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation following service or installation
• Manage on‑site jobs efficiently, escalating issues or scope changes as required
• Adhere to all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
• Deliver high‑quality work within agreed timeframes, minimising rework and repeat visits
• Accurately record labour, parts usage and service activities in company systems
• Identify and manage hazards, applying appropriate risk controls at all times
• Maintain required licences, certifications, safety documentation and compliance records
• Contribute to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service outcomes

Key Responsibilities
