Job summary

Bapcor Limited is seeking a skilled Service Technician to deliver expert service, repairs and installations across our workshop equipment range, including wheel service and hoist systems.

Join our on-site service team, combining technical expertise with strong customer service to ensure equipment reliability, safety and efficiency for our customers. This hands-on role emphasizes quality workmanship and problem solving in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification relevant to mechanical, electrical or automotive equipment.
• Current driver’s licence is required.
• Experience servicing, repairing or installing mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance and Electrical fault-finding.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, breakdown and installation work on wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant repair solutions, and Diagnostics
• Complete work to manufacturer specifications, technical standards and company procedures
• Test equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation following service or installation
• Manage on-site jobs efficiently, escalating issues or scope changes as required
• Adhere to all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices
• Deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes, minimising rework and repeat visits
• Accurately record labour, parts usage and service activities in company systems
• Identify and manage hazards, applying appropriate risk controls at all times
• Maintain required licences, certifications, safety documentation and compliance records
• Contribute to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service outcomes

Join as a Service Technician, delivering expert service, repairs, and installations across our industry-leading workshop equipment range, including wheel service and hoist systems.

As the face of our business in the field, you'll combine technical expertise with excellent customer service to ensure equipment reliability, outstanding workmanship, and safe, efficient outcomes for our customers. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair, breakdown and installation work on wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment
