Job summary

OPS Screening & Crushing Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a hands‑on Service & Technical leader to drive safe, profitable service delivery. You will manage workshop, field and site activities, plan resources, and own end‑to‑end service performance across repairs, rebuilds and refurbishment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will lead the service team, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Trade or engineering qualification in mechanical, fabrication or electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in workshop or service management.
• Experience managing Field Service teams is highly desirable.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all workshop, field and site‑based service operations.
• Plan, schedule and resource all service and technical activities.
• Support the Field Service team to deliver high‑quality customer outcomes.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on time and to OEM and quality standards.
• Oversee repairs, rebuilds and refurbishment of equipment.
• Coordinate field service, workshop and production activities.
• Manage facilities, plant, fleet and company assets at the Goodna site.
• Prepare quotations and estimates in line with labour and market conditions.
• Control department budgets, invoicing and work in progress.
• Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, develop and performance‑manage service personnel.
• Champion health, safety and environmental compliance across the department.
