Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Australia is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to perform accurate calibrations across temperature, humidity, dimensional, mechanical, pressure, and torque instruments. You will maintain records, ensure ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA readiness, and provide occasional onsite services, supporting calibration accuracy and quality.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Metrology and at least 3 years of calibration experience, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Metrology or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in temperature and/or humidity calibration.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA requirements.
  • Able to lift up to 20 kg and work onsite in Australia.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate thermocouples, RTDs, infrared thermometers, temperature sources, and humidity sensors.
  • Calibrate and repair dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque equipment.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMM.
  • Provide occasional onsite calibration services.
  • Analyse and correct systematic measurement errors and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Maintain detailed calibration records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality systems.
  • Support NATA accreditation and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician with expertise in one or more disciplines, including temperature, humidity, dimensional, mechanical, pressure, and torque instruments. This role involves performing accurate calibrations, inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.



  • Calibrate thermocouples, RTDs, infrared thermometers, temperature sources, and humidity sensors.

  • Calibrate and repair dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque equipment.

  • Perform dimensional inspections using advanced techniques, including CMM.

  • Provide occasional onsite calibration services.

  • Analyse and correct systematic measurement errors and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions.

  • Maintain detailed calibration records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality systems.

  • Support NATA accreditation and audit readiness.



Qualifications


  • Diploma or degree in Metrology or related technical discipline.

  • 3+ years’ experience in temperature and/or humidity calibration preferred.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, physical, and dimensional test equipment.

  • Proficiency in modern calibration technologies and uncertainty analysis.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Computer proficiency, especially with spreadsheets.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg.

  • Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA requirements.

  • Must be eligible to work in Australia.
