Job summary

An energy solutions provider in Sydney is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage inventory and coordinate the supply of parts within operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts management and customer service, with skills in inventory management and effective communication. You will liaise with suppliers and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels to support the service team across Australia.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a parts coordinator or similar logistics role is preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating services.
  • Experience working with gas engines would be an advantage.

Overview

Job Description: As a Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the inventory and supply of parts within our operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of parts, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our teams in providing exceptional service.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Parts interpretation / management; previous experience in a parts coordinator or similar logistics role is preferred.
  • Co-ordinating services.
  • Gas engine experience would be an advantage (Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Waukesha).
  • Customer service.
  • Inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience using Xero & Unleashed inventory management software.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and track parts orders, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of parts to relevant departments.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all parts are properly labelled and stored in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in organizing and managing stock levels to avoid shortages and overstocking.
  • Generate and maintain detailed reports on parts usage and inventory levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders regarding parts inquiries.
  • Work closely with the maintenance and technical teams to forecast parts requirements.
  • Managing spare parts inventory & warehouse.
  • Assist with preparing quotes for customers.
  • Assist with service co-ordination, parts & personnel.
  • Preparing orders to be shipped.
  • Supporting BMA Energy's service team & customers Australia wide.
  • Working with a good cultured team.
