Job summary

NCS Australia seeks an experienced ServiceNow Functional Consultant to deliver enterprise ServiceNow solutions. You will translate business requirements into functional designs, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide development, QA, and deployment activities.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, workshops, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT coordination, with strong emphasis on Agile delivery and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience as ServiceNow Functional Consultant, BA, or Functional Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, and platform capabilities.
• Experience documenting business, functional, and configuration requirements.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating and supporting UAT activities.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow specs, and functional docs.
• Support ServiceNow configuration by providing detailed functional requirements to development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demos.
• Coordinate and support UAT activities, test planning, data prep, defect triage, and user support.
• Work with developers, testers, architects, and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Assist with release planning, change management, and deployment readiness activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across ServiceNow processes and workflows.

Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers, and support teams, you will translate business requirements into functional designs and user stories, ensuring successful delivery of ServiceNow enhancements and initiatives.

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes and desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating and supporting UAT activities.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
