Job summary

Uniting Victoria and Tasmania – Tatura VIC is seeking an OSHC Service Leader to oversee the strategic and operational management of the Tatura OSHC program. You will drive quality, sustainability and service delivery while supporting your team to meet the National Quality Standards.

The role is permanent part‑time with a base hourly rate of $38.25 + salary packaging, 17.5% leave loading and extra benefits to enhance take‑home pay.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Experience in rostering and administration.
• First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates or willing to obtain.

• PT approx. 30 Hour Permanent Contract
• $38.25 per hour negotiable+ salary packaging.

Your new role

As the OSHC Service Leader you will oversee and lead the strategic and operational management of our newest program, Tatura OSHC.

You will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery. You will support your team to ensure our practices facilitate a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflects the National Quality Framework, taking our OSHC programs to the next level.

Your skills and experience

You're known for your advocacy and passion for high‑quality OSHC programs and have a track record in supporting and leading people.

You will also bring with you:

• Demonstrated organisational skills to juggle competing priorities and manage timelines.
• Experience in people management, , supervision, performance management and administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills with sound ability to write professional work instructions.
• Strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, including demonstration of applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of My Time, Our Place that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing quality within a service and shape the overall performance, including high quality learning and leisure experiences for children.
• Demonstrated experience in shaping a service delivery and practices to promote growth in quality care, safety, wellbeing and support of children and families accessing a service.
• Experience in facilitating employee learning to develop knowledge and skills.
• Experience in adhering to legislative frameworks and organisational requirements.
• Experience in supervising and managing employees, including rostering.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check*
• Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state‑based Child Safety Training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
