Job summary

Camp Australia in Rockhampton, QLD, is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood educator to lead a passionate team and create a safe, welcoming space for children before and after school and during holidays.

You will design engaging daily activities, plan safe snacks, and foster strong relationships with children, families, and local schools while upholding our safeguarding culture and values.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with relationship-building skills.
• Completed Diploma in childcare or currently pursuing equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)

At our service in Rockhampton you’ll lead a passionate team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, have fun, and flourish.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
