Job summary

Camp Australia Berala service is seeking a passionate educator for a maternity relief role through August 2027. You will design and maintain an engaging, safe program, plan daily activities for primary-aged children, and prepare healthy snacks while building strong relationships with families and the local school community.

You will join a team dedicated to child safety and inclusive environments, with opportunities for growth, development support, and benefits aligned with our flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Diploma or working towards in childcare.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30am–8:55am and 2:30pm–6:00pm, Mon–Fri.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Job description

At Camp Australia, children are at the centre of everything we do, guiding their growth before school, after school, and during the holidays. At our service in Berala you’ll lead a passionate team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, have fun, and flourish.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

This is a maternity relief role available for an immediate start spanning through to August 2027.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:55 am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
