Job summary

Kennards Hire in Tweed Heads is seeking a Service Person Driver for a permanent full-time role. You will be the critical link between our branches, customers and projects, handling pickups, deliveries and equipment checks.

You'll train to service and maintain gear, demonstrate safe use, and provide exceptional customer service. A MR driver's licence is required; Forklift Licence and White Card are highly desirable; weekend work on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• MR driver's licence is required.
• Forklift Licence and White Card are highly desirable.
• Weekend availability on a rotating roster.
• This role involves physical work including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
• Interest in machinery and equipment with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and demonstrate to customers how to safely use our equipment.
• As the Driver, perform pickups and deliveries from customer sites, including loading/unloading.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
• Maintain the high standard and quality of equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs.
• Perform cleaning of branch facilities and maintenance of equipment as required.
• Conduct equipment checks in and out to ensure readiness for hire.
