Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets in Queensland is seeking a diligent service deli assistant to support daily deli operations and lead a small team. You will help with rostering, orders and ensuring high standards of customer service in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

Reporting directly to the Service Deli Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day deli activities and coaching the team, with on-the-job training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to supervise a team.
• Understanding of ordering, cost control and gross profit.
• Accurate team rostering.
• Passion and enthusiasm with a hands-on approach.
