Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets Pty Ltd is seeking a energetic team member to assist with the day-to-day running of our Service Deli. You will help coach the team, manage production, and ensure smooth deli operations in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Reporting to the Service Deli Manager, you’ll contribute to rostering, orders and cost controls, while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining health and safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
• Ability to supervise a team
• Understanding of ordering, cost control and gross profit is an advantage
• Accurate team member rostering is an advantage
• Passion and enthusiasm, with a very hands-on approach

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Service Deli Manager, assist with the day-to-day running of the store's service deli to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist with managing and coaching the team, completing production and actioning orders.
• Generate rosters and support overall deli performance.
