Job summary

Symal in Avalon is seeking a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to keep the workshop running smoothly and support the Assets & Logistics team with scheduling and maintenance of plant and machinery.

You will manage servicing, inspections, and records, coordinate minor breakdowns, and ensure safety and compliance while contributing to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Current NSW driver's licence.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Able to multitask in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage digital prestart forms and our job-tracking platform.
• Coordinate minor breakdowns and workflow updates with the Assets & Personnel team.
• Book and schedule servicing, maintenance and inspections for plant and machinery.
• Maintain and update workshop maintenance records.
• Uphold safety and HSEQ standards across the workshop.

The role

Keep our workshop running smoothly and help drive safe, reliable operations across our plant and machinery fleet.

We're looking for a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our fast-paced Assets & Logistics team at our Avalon office. You'll play a key part in keeping our workshop running smoothly, coordinating assets, managing servicing schedules and ensuring our plant and machinery stay safe, compliant and ready for project delivery.

Your everyday

Who are you?

• Current NSW driver's licence
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• A quick learner who stays proactive and ahead of the pace
• Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy workshop environment
• Experience in logistics, scheduling or workshop coordination
• Knowledge of ISO quality systems (advantageous)
