What’s the role?

We’re on the lookout for customer service-oriented individuals living in or near Weipa to join our regional Queensland teams. This is a Drive -In Drive-Out (DIDO) role that offer a great entry point into the mining and resources sector. If you have hospitality or industrial cleaning experience—or bring a positive, can-do attitude and transferable skills—this is your chance to step into a rewarding role where your work makes a real impact.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking reliable, customer-focused individuals with hospitality, industrial cleaning, or related experience—or those with transferable skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll thrive in a team environment and be comfortable working in remote locations with varying conditions.

You’ll need to:

Have experience in housekeeping, kitchen support, retail, or industrial cleaning roles

Be ready to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations

Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to help across different tasks

Commit to following safety procedures and workplace protocols

Hold a valid driver’s licence and pass pre-employment medical checks, including drug and alcohol screening

Be an Australian citizen or hold full working rights

Working on the mines can be incredibly rewarding, but it’s not for everyone—our casual FIFO roles require flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to work across a variety of service attendant areas throughout Queensland.

Candidates must be local to where the job is being advertised or willing to relocate at their own expense and should be prepared for11-hour workdayson a 5:2 roster(5 days on-site, 2 days at home). Before applying, please consider what’s expected and whether this lifestyle suits you.
