About the role

Westralia car care is seeking an experienced and driven Service Advisor/Assistant Manager to join our busy, modern automotive workshop located in Balcatta, WA. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and that our workshop runs efficiently. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and experience in a customer-facing role.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality customer service and managing client relationships
• Booking in vehicles for scheduled services and repairs, and providing accurate estimates
• Overseeing the workflow of the workshop and ensuring jobs are completed on time
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering parts as required
• Supporting the Workshop Manager in day-to-day operations and business management
• Assisting with the training and supervision of junior staff
• Maintaining detailed records and providing reports as needed

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years\' experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and staff
• Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to understand and explain complex issues to customers
• A friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A current driver\'s licence
