Anglicare is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Lead for an Aged Care site in Rushcutters Bay. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality kitchen and dining services for residents, focusing on leadership, presentation, and excellent dining experiences.
You will oversee meal preparation, food presentation, and service while managing ordering, stock control, rostering and budgets. You will ensure HACCP compliance and support diverse dietary needs, collaborating with clinical teams to continually improve

Unlike many commercial kitchens, you won\'t be preparing an extensive restaurant menu from scratch every day. Approximately 30% of the menu is prepared, allowing you to focus on quality, presentation, leadership and delivering an exceptional dining experience without the pressure of a traditional hospitality environment. This is an opportunity to combine your hospitality leadership experience with meaningful work that genuinely improves people\'s lives.
You\'re a passionate hospitality leader with a Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent), supervisory experience, a commitment to food safety and quality, and a genuine desire to inspire teams while living our values of compassion, respect and excellence. You\'ll likely have experience in one of the following roles: Catering Manager, Chef Manager, Kitchen Manager, Food Services Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, Servery Supervisor, Head Chef with leadership responsibilities.
