Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Servery Staff member to create positive mealtime experiences for residents. You will prepare, present and serve meals, ensuring dietary and texture requirements are met, while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

You will work closely with kitchen and care teams to support residents’ health and emotional wellbeing, bringing empathy, attention to detail and a respectful, dignified approach to every interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a food service, kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Experience preparing, presenting or serving meals.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Food Handling Certificate or equivalent food safety training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve meals to residents.
• Follow individual dietary, texture and meal requirements.
• Check food temperature, presentation and serving standards.
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen, dining and storage areas.
• Welcome residents warmly and report relevant changes to your supervisor.
